Ever notice how some people have an incredible drive to get things done, while others seem more concerned with how you feel about a project? Still someone else may always seem to be the life of the party, yet another may want the facts and just the facts?
This is because everyone is born with a set of personality temperaments. There are four main temperaments and while every person has within them aspects of all four, one temperament will always be the most dominant. In order to have a better understanding of people, it’s important to have an understanding of these temperaments. In order to have a better understanding of these temperaments one needs to first and foremost discover their own temperament.
My three hour Personality Insights seminar does just that. Through my seminar you will first discover what your personality temperament is. Once you discover your own personality temperament. You will begin to understand why you are the way you are. Why you do the things you do. Is your desk or workspace always in disarray? Perhaps your dominant is 1) Sanguine. Is everything around neat and tidy and your daily routines kept in perfect order through the use of lists? Perhaps you are 2) Melancholic. Maybe you are the driven sort. Damn the torpedo’s full speed ahead! Sounds like a 3) Choleric. Maybe you simply have a love for people. You could be a 4) Phlegmatic.
You may be thinking, hey a couple of those sound like me. That is most likely true, however, only one is the most dominant. Once you fully embrace your own temperament, you can begin to learn about the other temperaments. You will begin to understand why one person carefully cuts open a package of potato chips while another simply rips open the bag. You will discover why one supervisors desk is neat and tidy while another looks like it’s been through Hurricane Katrina. When an incident occurs, it will make sense why one person takes charge while another checks to see if everyone is ok. For a person in a sales career, being able to first know your own temperament and to be able to determine a clients temperament can prove to be an invaluable asset. Parents can discover why their children behave the way they do from a very early age. Supervisors can better relate to employees. Employees can better relate to supervisors.
It all begins to make perfect sense when you develop Personality Insights! This seminar works best with a group of ten or more people in order to have a variety of each personality type in attendance.
